DANCE TEACHER BIOGRAPHY: Emily Twombly has been dancing and performing around the New England area for over 21 years. She has taught dance to all age groups, beginners to college level dancers and has danced professionally for agencies in Boston.
Rockport Dance Academy is dedicated to the art of dance. We work hard to introduce and instill creativity, discipline and passion in each of our students. We focus on the proper use of the body while developing artistry and self-expression.
By providing a place where the children of our community are welcome to learn the art of dance we are encouraging confidence, coordination, creativity, musicality, rhythm, technique, appreciate and fun. Our goal is to inspire, motivate and enrich not only the students, but the whole community in the art of dance.
Rockport Dance Academy, owned by Emily Twombly and established in 2010, is committed to providing high quality instruction in all facets of dance. We provide a progressive, versatile curriculum of instruction in a positive learning environment. We cater to students age three through adult, beginner to pre-professional level. Teachers assess students strengths and areas for growth and apply teaching skills in such a way to maximize students enjoyment and help them reach their ultimate potential.
